Why The Fuzz About Agile Or Waterfall, Why Not Both?

In the last article, both project management approaches were discussed. There has been feedback regarding which of the Approaches to use for projects.

There are typical projects but more often than not, there is always a difference with each project managed depending on a couple of factors.

The waterfall approach that waits for a task to be done before the next one begins can be a useful approach in a project that has been marked out to be done the Agile way.

Using a technical project as an example, the agile approach is the go-to approach. The waterfall approach is also needed because of its detailed planning upfront, which helps the project team better forecast the overall project cost and timeline. Not forgetting that the agile approach gives an iterative development approach which results in added flexibility for the client’s end product.

Extensive study has shown that both project management approaches can be simultaneously incorporated when managing a project.
